On June 7th WWII Sergeant Jack C. Hallman who served in the army was honored at the 33rd Annual Country Music Showdown in Harrington, Delaware. Laura performed the National Anthem and “The House I Live In” and was apart of the flag folding presentation of an Annin Flag from Veterans Recognition Committee, Wounded In Action Family Foundation, and the Color Guard. We received a letter from Jack expressing his appreciation of being honored and what a great experience he had. Laura was proud to be apart of honoring him. She teared up when he said he met Marlene Dietrich in WWII and Laura was his modern day Marlene Dietrich. Such a great experience, one to remember! HAPPY 4th of JULY!
