GRAMMY NOMINATED SINGER LAURA BRYNA PERFORMS AMERICAN NATIONAL ANTHEM AND ISRAELI NATIONAL ANTHEM AT PARTNERS THROUGH TIME: FINALE GALA
Grammy – nominated singer Laura Bryna will be performing the American National Anthem and the Israeli National Anthem at Partners Through Time: Finale Gala at the Met, on May 20th 2014.
Bryna’s performance at the finale gala will conclude The Global Gathering beginning May 18th. The gathering consists of presentations by a stellar roster of Weizmann scientists, exclusive private events at iconic New York City venues, and a celebration of the 70th anniversary of the American Committee and the community of International Committees.
The essential partnership between science and philanthropy takes center stage at the Gathering’s finale event at the incomparable Metropolitan Museum of Art. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Temple of Dendur, the gala will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the American Committee and celebrate the community of International Committees that have helped to build and strengthen the Weizmann Institute of Science.
About Laura Bryna
Laura Bryna is a Grammy-nominated country pop sensation. Laura’s debut album, Trying to Be Me, includes the hit singles “Make a Wish” and “Life is Good.” Beyond her musical career Laura has been a host for GoTV’s show True Country as well as a co-host on Serving Your Country radio show. Laura is an avid supporter of the United States Military and was named the Air National Guard Celebrity Spokesperson. In 2014 Laura was named co-national spokesperson for the Wounded in Action Family Foundation (WIAFF), she will perform in a series of concerts at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas sponsored by WIAFF. In addition to all of her musical and philanthropic commitments, Laura has found time to pen a children’s book “Snuggles goes to Hollywood.”
